Dedicated to the Chaffee County Community since the 1970s.
Our History
Founded in the early 1970s by Helen Nachtrieb, our organization began as a volunteer-run thrift store called God's Closet. We became a nonprofit in 2002 to ensure our mission continued.
In 2004, New Caring & Sharing moved to our current location on the corner of 4th and G Street. We've been a cornerstone of the community ever since.
